Our awesome emulsifying whipped body scrub is made with shea butter, coconut oil and essential oils to soothe and moisturize your skin, and sugar to exfoliate. This scrub is anhydrous (contains no water) but because it has potential to be introduced to water as it is mostly used in the shower, we used a preservative to prevent bacteria and mold growth. We used Optiphen which is a paraben and formaldehyde free broad spectrum preservative that protects against gram positive bacteria, gram negative bacteria and mold.
